Job Description

  • Basic understanding of Accounting principles (Golden Rules of Accounting) and Accounting Standards ( not mandatory)
  • Difference between Cash and Accrual System
  • Bank Reconciliation and Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Vendor Reconciliation (tallying the vendor statement with our accounting records)
  • Creation of Purchase Order and basic knowledge of Procure to Pay Cycle / P2P
  • Raising invoices on vendors once invoices are received which should be in accordance with the Purchase Order
  • Avoiding duplicate payments
  • Prepare Monthly Payment/Expense Report / MIS
  • Effective Vendor Management and Communication
  • Maintain a list of permanent vendors
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors by liaising with Accounts Office
  • Effectively dealing with the vendors or notifying higher management in case of payment delays or disruptions
  • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Budgeting for office supplies and other Office Expenses
  • Purchase and maintain inventory of office equipment, stationery.
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Preparing Travel and other Employee reimbursement Sheets and effectively getting the reimbursement done on time by liaising with Accounts Office
  • Maintain employee’s Medical Insurance Detail Tracker and keeping record of related details in liaison with HR
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Would be responsible to maintain all certifications for office premises – fire, Shops & Establishment Certificates etc. in liaison with HR
  • Assist in arranging special events of company, organize office parties/functions in liaison with HR

Requirements

Skill Set

 

  • Good Communication and Writing skill
  • Presentable (male 28-32 preferable)
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience
  • Fair knowledge of Office Administration
  • Good Accounting knowledge
  • Above average mathematical skills
  • Good Computer skills specially excel (must be good at MS excel & word)
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks online is a plus

 

Benefits

Education:

B.com preferably from a reputed university not IGNOU or any such open or Grade B University ( at least 50% no gap in graduation)

Xth & XIIth grade ( at least 60% on an average)

Master’s in accounting (M.Com) or a certification in Office Administration is a plus.
